Leslie Hollaway

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND OWNER

Leslie Hollaway is the visionary behind Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services, and she has spent the last decade focused on strategic growth and superb client service.  She has a breadth of experience in project management, project planning and permitting, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and public engagement for large-scale, high-profile infrastructure projects, and she uses this expertise to lead the award-winning team at Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services. Ms. Hollaway has over 16 years of experience serving projects throughout the Gulf Coast.

Claire Garvin

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Claire Garvin lends extensive experience to Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services in team and project management, project planning, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and environmental permitting, and development and execution of large-scale biological field survey programs as well as public involvement. Ms. Garvin has over 15 years of experience throughout the Gulf Coast including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Ms. Garvin serves the team to ensure our clients and their projects are our focus.

Jennifer Smith

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Jennifer Smith is our Chief People Officer and is an SHRM Certified Professional. She has been with Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services since 2016 and has over 13 years of Administrative, Human Resources, and Financial experience. Ms. Smith is our in-house HR practitioner that provides the Hollaway team expertise and support in everything from performance management to HR compliance. Her priority is to build and foster an inclusive and diverse culture that aligns with Hollaway’s vision and values.

Trevor Pattillo

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Trevor Pattillo serves as the Financial Manager after receiving his MBA from the University of Houston, Downtown and has been with Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services since 2016. Mr. Pattillo leverages the skills he learned while achieving his degree to provide financial expertise to company leadership as well as administer the day-to-day management of company finances. His goal is to continue the financial stability and growth of the company while maintaining alignment with Hollaway’s strategic plan.

Sam Blanco, AICP, PMP

VICE PRESIDENT OF STATEWIDE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Sam Blanco oversees Hollaway’s environmental practice across the State of Texas. He is a NEPA expert with over 20 years of experience in consulting and local government. He has managed multiple, simultaneous NEPA and natural/cultural resource on-call contracts for the Texas Department of Transportation; large municipalities; and the nation’s largest public power, natural gas, and electric company. His focus on customer service, responsiveness, and high-quality deliverables has earned him the trust of numerous clients over the years.

Ally Altemose, PWS, ENV SP

DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Ally Altemose is the Environmental Team Lead at HECS. She is a Professional Wetland Scientist with over 16 years of experience delineating and permitting Waters of the United States. She has managed many small- and large-scale development and infrastructure projects. She has a broad range of experience with plants and wildlife surveys. She holds a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Scientific Collection Permit for freshwater mussels statewide and has conducted numerous rare, threatened, and endangered plant surveys throughout Texas.

Connor Stokes, ENV SP

COMMUNICATIONS Technical Expert

Connor Stokes has over 9 years of communications experience including project management, project research, report authorship, video production, stakeholder outreach, public meeting/hearing planning, and quality assurance review. He has played an integral role in many client projects, including the Texas General Land Office’s Coastal Resiliency Master Plan, the Coastal Texas Study led by USACE and Texas General Land Office, and crisis communications in support of the Harris County Flood Control District in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Greg Sevcik

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Greg Sevcik has over 15 years of experience as a professional graphic designer, developing print collateral, branding, and motion graphics. He has expertise in developing various technical and educational communication tools for public involvement activities. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of consistent and uniform templates for various project-specific newsletters and mail-outs. Mr. Sevcik’s graphic design and video production work for client projects has won multiple Communicator and Telly Awards.

Tara Davis

MARKETING + CREATIVE SERVICES TEAM LEAD

Tara Davis has over 8 years of experience working in the private sector servicing Federal, non-governmental, and private organizations. She has work experience with creating and implementing marketing plans, which include social media strategy, collateral creation, logistics for tradeshows, and metric creation for companies. At HECS, she supports document creation, assisting with editing, coordinating large and small scale and public meetings, and general support of Hollaway team projects and marketing and project teaming efforts.

Kasey Clarke, WPIT

Senior ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Since joining HECS, Kasey Clarke has gained a wide variety of experience in environmental services including wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, oyster surveys, freshwater mussel surveys, environmental inspections, stormwater monitoring, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. She has supported an array of projects including federal and state permitting, private development, mitigation, transportation, and dredging. She brings with her a strong background in avian biology and behavior.

Rachel Massey

Senior communication specialist

Rachel Massey has six years of experience in public involvement and community outreach, which includes, developing mailing lists, presentation materials, managing public engagement meetings. From design and construction projects to conceptual marketing and creating public awareness, she works with the communications team on large and small-scale projects within the realm of public awareness and outreach, while simultaneously in compliance of environmental guidelines and constraints with projects that require nothing less.

Rosaura Martinez

SENIOR communications specialist

Rosaura Martinez is a bilingual professional with more than 5 years of experience in public relations, direct marketing, communications, and public engagement. At Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services, she works as a Communications Specialist providing support for both public and private clients and for large scale infrastructure and transportation projects.

Molly Lenihan

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Molly Lenihan has gained experience in a wide range of environmental services during her time with HECS. This includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species assessments. She has supported the HECS team in a variety of projects, including private development, public works, biological surveys, and mitigation. She brings a background in ecology and Texas native species with her.

Thomas Mumford

PRODUCTION specialist

Thomas Mumford supports the Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services team as a Production Specialist. He has more than eight years of experience in audio recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as more than ten years in live sound reinforcement and video production. A jack of all trades, he provides all-around support to our clients by providing an excellent level of service for every project that he has the opportunity to serve.

LaDaja Dunn

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Ms. LaDaja Dunn supports the Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services team as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Ms. Dunn brings with her the ease of adaptability, organizational skills, as well as previous administrative and marketing experience to the company. As an Executive Administrative Assistant, she helps lead the efficient operation of the office, assists in invoicing, marketing efforts, and provides day to day support to the Executive Team.

Taffeta Burleson

ASSOCIATE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Taffeta Burleson supports the Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services team as an Associate Environmental Scientist. She has gained experience in a wide range of environmental services during her time with HECS, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, wetland delineations, and threatened and endangered species assessments. She supports an array of projects including mitigation, transportation, and municipal infrastructure. She brings with her a strong skillset in field research, data analysis, and GIS mapping.

Carol Hollaway

Senior economist

Carol Hollaway has over 40 years of experience in water resources planning, economic analysis, and social impact assessment. She has worked for the USACE, and the Institute for Water Resources (IWR) where she achieved subject matter expertise in a variety of economic evaluation techniques, cost-benefit analysis, nonstructural measures for storm risk reduction, social impact assessment, and water resource planning policy and practices. She has received national recognition for her contribution to flood risk management and water resources planning.

John Simmons

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

John Simmons has over four years of experience working in both the private and public sectors, serving as a scientist and natural resource specialist. Since joining the HECS team, he has gained experience in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, wetland delineations, constraints analyses, and threatened and endangered species assessments. He has supported HECS in a variety of projects, including private development and public works. He brings with him a background in geology, environmental science, and remote sensing.

Amiah Williams

ASSOCIATE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Amiah Williams has a range of experience in public relations, digital marketing, communications, and public engagement. As an Associate Communications Specialist, she helps Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services by providing support to a variety of diverse projects. She brings her innovative critical thinking, strategic planning, and strong communication skills to the team.

Blythe Payne

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Blythe Payne contributes to the Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services team as a Communications Specialist. Blythe has four years of environmental compliance experience. She uses her technical writing, document and worksheet management and communications skills to support the team.
