Protected Species Surveys

If threatened or endangered species, rare species, or critical habitats are present at your project site a Protected Species survey may be required to ensure compliance with the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Hollaway Environmental + Communications Services has conducted hundreds of surveys for federal and state-listed threatened and endangered species.

Our services include:

  • Identification and mapping of protected species habitat
  • Protected species presence/absence surveys
  • Complete biological inventories
  • Habitat Assessments

Consulting with federal and state agencies

In addition to preparing biological assessment documents, we coordinate  with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, U.S. Forest Service and local agencies during the entire process.

We have conducted hundreds of surveys for threatened and endangered species for federal and state governments, as well as for clients in the private sector.
