From the very day that you engage our team as your trusted public communications experts, we get to work reducing your risks. Our clients know we reduce their risks – it is what we do each and every day. This includes public acceptance risk, permitting risk, litigation risk, and project implementation risk. These are the risks that will disrupt, delay, or cause a project to fail – regardless of its need.

Experienced in all aspects of public relations

We do this by:

  • Preparing and implementing strategic communications, crisis communications, and media relations plans
  • Developing key messaging
  • Facilitating public speaking and media training
  • Organizing, publicizing, and facilitating public meetings and hearings, as well as stakeholder engagement opportunities
  • Arranging media briefings and press conferences
  • Developing public outreach tools, such as newsletters, websites, exhibits, and fact sheets
  • Providing expert documentation of public/community input and engagement activities

Project Highlights

  • Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Program – Orange County Coastal Storm Risk Management Project

To support this $4B coastal storm risk management program in the Pre-Construction Engineering and Design Phase, Hollaway provides environmental planning and consulting services, as well as comprehensive communications, stakeholder engagement, and consensus building services.

  • $2.5B Harris County Flood Control Bond Program

Following Hurricane Harvey in August 2017, Harris County Commissioners Court called a bond election to provide the opportunity for Harris County residents to vote on what could be $2.5 billion in bonds for flood risk reduction projects throughout Harris County. In an effort to provide more information about the bond program to Harris County residents, Hollaway was selected to support the Flood Control District through rapid planning and facilitation of 23 Community Engagement Meetings in each of Harris County’s 23 watersheds.

  • Surface Water Supply Project

Hollaway supports the West Harris County Regional Water Authority and North Fort Bend Water Authority in the delivery of the 55-mile-long, 8-foot-diameter water transmission line from the City of Houston’s Northeast Water Purification Plant to the west Houston and north Fort Bend County regions. Hollaway serves the project with community education, engagement, crisis communications, and environmental permitting services.
