Shannon Otermat

Shannon Otermat leads Hollaway’s communications practice with more than 30 years of experience in strategic communications and large-scale, high-profile public engagement efforts. She most recently directed the communications team at one of the state’s largest flood mitigation agencies, giving her firsthand insight into what public agencies need from a communications partner. Prior to that, Ms. Otermat spent 15 years at a Houston-based strategic communications firm, where she led the public sector practice and directed award-winning brand, awareness, and public engagement campaigns. Based in San Marcos, she supports both Hollaway offices and clients across the state.
